Palazzo Cacherano di Bricherasio is a historic 17th-century building located in the historic center of Turin, at 20 Via Giuseppe Luigi Lagrange, just a short distance from Piazza San Carlo, Via Roma, and Piazza C.L.N.
Originally a noble residence since the 17th century, it was home to the Counts Cacherano di Bricherasio, an extinct family of the ancient Piedmontese nobility renowned for military honors, with some members holding the title of Viceroy of the House of Savoy. The family was also distinguished for its notable philanthropic and patronage activities.
Over the course of the 20th century, it underwent significant transformations and changes of ownership, eventually becoming the exhibition venue for the Fondazione Palazzo Bricherasio.
After nearly a decade of decline, in 1994 the entire building was purchased by Alberto Alessio who, following a careful conservation and renovation project carried out by architects Campanino, Dal Bianco, and Cinquetti, transformed it into the headquarters of the Palazzo Bricherasio Foundation.
